1% For the Planet Joins GoodWell Certified Entities

We are thrilled to welcome 1% for the Planet as the first nonprofit, member organization to achieve GoodWell certification! This milestone is an important step in our commitment to fair employer treatment for all entity types, which also includes for profit and government organizations.

Why GoodWell Certification?

She made the commitment to align action with intention among her employees for a fair, equitable and humane workplace. The process was “so simple” yet highlighted how to address workplace practice challenges in an objective and quantifiable way. Kate had never truly seen where the numbers around compensation, pay equity, and employee satisfaction all lined up. The certification data provides her executive team with actionable management insights to continually improve. For example, Kate was “pretty surprised by our eNPS score. It didn’t match the very positive direct feedback that I’ve generally received, so I appreciate the opportunity to dig into the why’s, and what needs to change.”
